Here are just a few of the things that we inspect for on your prospective home.
A home inspection is an objective visual examination of the physical structure and systems of a home, from the roof to the foundation. The standard home inspector's report will include an evaluation of the condition of the home's heating system, central air conditioning system (temperature permitting), interior plumbing and electrical systems; the roof, attic, and visible insulation; walls, ceilings, floors, windows and doors; the foundation, basement, and visible structure.

What is an Inspection? An inspection is a written report of facts gathered during a visual check of the working systems and general integrity of a dwelling.
What Will an Inspection Include? An inspection will check for any visual abnormalities in walls, floors or ceilings such as cracks, buckles or sagging, as well as visual leaks, and evidence of past problems in the plumbing.
An inspection also includes visible checking for proper drain function and venting. The roof is inspected for defects and wear. The heating and cooling systems will be checked weather conditions permitting. An inspection will also include a general inspection of the ground, including drainage and fencing.
Statistics show that the largest investment for most people will be the purchase of their home. Consequently one should be confident of the condition of the property they are purchasing. As a buyer, you need to be aware of the condition inside and out, as well as the future repairs and maintenance requirements of the property you are about to purchase.
The inspector reports on and interprets signs of potential problems such as stains on ceilings, cracks in walls, and other various abnormalities. Whether it appears to be a single incident or a continuing and/or potentially continuing problem. The inspector will also report on the conditions of the home that are positive conditions, such as upgraded windows, additional insulation and superior construction methods that may be observed visually. The inspection will provide you with a report for your review to aid you in making an informed decision about the property you are about to purchase.
This report will help you avoid unhappy surprises upon the purchase of your home.
What are the
Advantages of
Obtaining an Inspection?
When Should I get an Inspection?
The time to get an inspection is after you find a home and before you make an offer. Your first offer, or even whether or not you choose to make an offer, may depend on what you find after reviewing your report.
You may also choose to include an inspection clause in your contract making your offer contingent on the report findings.
Can a Building Fail an Inspection?
No!  The purpose of an inspection is not to appraise or to find code violations, it is to evaluate the property. A professional inspection is simply an examination into the current condition of your prospective purchase.
Did I Need an Inspection if the Report was Favorable? Yes!  You need to know what you are buying. With the report you will have peace of mind. You will have made a well-informed decision and can feel confident in your purchase of a home.
