Daniel E. McCabe, Esq. was elected president of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA) at the national convention in Las Vegas. FEA is the only national organization for the exchange industry and promotes education, innovations and ethical standards of conduct in the 1031 exchange profession.
McCabe is president of Investment Exchange Group, LLC, (IXG) a Denver based, nation-wide, and independently owned qualified intermediary. McCabe has 30 years of legal expertise as an attorney in real estate and construction law, and completed his first 1031 Exchange in 1977. He is a graduate of Southern Oregon University and Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. Dan served as legal counsel to multiple real estate professionals and acted as a principal and real estate agent in numerous real estate sales and development projects. Additionally, he served as Municipal Judge for over nine years.
McCabe is a nationally recognized seminar leader on Section 1031 tax deferred exchanges and has conducted numerous investor seminars on real estate and construction law, liability and advanced principals of reverse and construction exchanges. He was a guest speaker at the National Association of REALTORS® convention in Chicago and the Colorado Association of REALTORS® convention.
